PREPARING FOR YOUR TREATMENT:
Avoid alcohol, aspirin, vitamin E, fish oil, St. John's Wort, and non steroidal anti-inflammatory products such as advil and ibuprofen for 3 days prior to treatment to decrease the likelihood of bruising.
To avoid possible discomfort, you may take up to 1000mg of acetaminophen (Tylenol) one hour prior to your scheduled appointment.
WANT TO HELP YOUR RESULTS LAST LONGER? Studies show if you take 50mg of Zinc 5 days before treatment and 5 days after, the zinc will help the medication bind to the receptor sites better, improving and prolonging your results!
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT:
Avoid stenuous exercise until tomorrow.
Do not massage or manipulate injection sites for 48 hours.
Continue Zinc 50 mg daily for 5 days to aid in medication binding for better and longer lasting results.
Expect the medicine to begin working in 3-7 days, with full kick in at 10-14 days. After 10 -14 days, if you are able to crease the skin with facial expressions, you need schedule a follow up for more units.
